Randilen Bush Camp
Immersed in untamed wilderness
Set within the Greater Tarangire ecosystem, Randilen Bush Camp offers a classic tented safari experience shaped by space, stillness and proximity to the wild.
Here, canvas walls replace stone. The sounds of the bush — distant lion calls, wind through acacia trees, elephants moving across the plains — become part of daily life. The atmosphere is immersive, unfiltered and deeply connected to its surroundings.
The tents
The camp consists of eight spacious safari tents, including generous family tents accommodating up to four guests.
Each tent is positioned to ensure privacy and uninterrupted views across open plains. Constructed on permanent foundations, the camp offers the stability of a lodge with the atmosphere of a classic tented safari.
Inside, comfort is balanced with restraint:
- En-suite bathroom with shower and flush toilet
- Comfortable beds
- Private veranda overlooking the wilderness
- Natural materials inspired by the surrounding landscape
The design remains intentionally understated, allowing the environment to remain the focal point.

Life at camp
Built on permanent foundations yet true to the spirit of a traditional safari camp, Randilen Bush Camp offers immersion without compromise.
Soft morning light filters through canvas walls. Evenings are spent beneath vast skies scattered with stars. Beyond camp, wildlife moves freely across the greater ecosystem.
Daily activities are guided by nature itself:
- Morning and afternoon game drives
- Night safaris
- Off-road tracking
- Guided walking safaris
- Bush breakfasts and dinners
The private setting allows for a level of freedom and flexibility rarely experienced within national parks.

Within a private conservation area
Randilen Bush Camp lies within the Greater Tarangire ecosystem, sharing migratory routes with Tarangire National Park.
The private status of the area allows for experiences not typically permitted inside national parks, including off-road driving and night safaris. Large elephant herds are frequently seen, alongside lion, leopard, giraffe, buffalo and diverse plains game.
The result is a safari that feels expansive, uncrowded and deeply personal.
